ABOUT US
Kuando Trading commenced its activities in 2003, initially supplying construction materials and equipment to the Western African markets. In particular Kuando was able to take advantage of the pportunities in Angola to supply its fast growing market for reconstruction after the end of the civil war.
In 2004 a new division was created to supply foodstuffs, focusing on frozen and dry products, and has been successfully supplying an increasing number of different international destinations since then.
Due to the highly personalised relationships we have built with our valued customers, we have been able to increase our trading volumes to more than 2,000 containers per year, 90% of which are destined for Africa.
Kuando Trading has now grown into a full service business, exporting frozen and dry food products, paper and derivatives, construction materials, machinery and equipment.

MEAT
Bovine and buffalo meat together account today for 22% of the world’s total meat production and consumption (FAO, 2017). Brazilian people are passionate about beef “churrasco” (barbecue), beef being Brazil’s most savored meat. Brazil is a world leader in the global production and trade of bovine meat (excluding buffalo), accounting for 22% of global exports (USDA, 2017 – excluding India).

POULTRY
Poultry plays an important role in today’s diet worldwide because of its high nutritional value and accessible price in most parts of the globe. According to the FAO (2017), poultry represents an important growth trend, accounting for 35% of today’s global meat production and consumption. Brazil and the United States currently lead worldwide poultry production, together accounting for 35% of the world’s output and 65% of its exports (USDA, 2017).
